About
Catherine Hunter’s start in the voice over business began quite by accident. As a college administrator, she was asked to be the voice of their new campus-wide phone system after a Vice President heard her voice mail message.
Several years later at a new company, she was again asked to be the voice for the message on hold and voice mail systems. A number of customers soon asked about the voice they were hearing and where they could find her.
“I found this all rather amusing, because it was just me! I certainly didn’t think I had any special talent or what I was doing was so extraordinary,” explains Catherine.
It was then that Catherine enrolled in a voice over course. From that first night on, she was hooked! Catherine went on to study with Dan Levine Productions, Cap Media Services, and White Lake Music & Post to hone her skills before venturing out into the world as professional voice talent.
Catherine’s natural voice has now been heard by millions of people throughout the United States through her extensive work in the healthcare industry. Catherine has demonstrated a natural ability to warmly enunciate difficult scripts. None more challenging than thousands of drug names for the health care industry (e.g. methyldopa with hydrochlorothiazide, acetazolamide).
